Every successful nature holiday starts with a good night’s sleep. Our rooms are designed to provide you with everything you need to wake up refreshed and ready for the great outdoors.
Our compact rooms are bird nests in both name and design. They come with everything you need, and nothing else. The classy, minimalist interiors combine Finnish design and furniture concepts developed together with the recycling company Reuse Center.
We only use ecological Finnish materials. Nest up in our high-quality, low-carbon footprint beds while Nuuksio's guardian elves keep watch – sweet dreams!
LODGE GLAMPING
When you want to experience the great outdoors and authenticity while enjoying modern facilities, the luxurious Lodge Glamping is your choice. A modern and safe nature treat for all senses!
Lodge Glampings are equipped with high-quality Unikulma beds (80x200) and down duvets and pillows. In Lodge Glampings, you surrounded by the sounds of nature, as the tent fabric stretched over the wooden frame lets the sounds of nature inside, but keeps the rain and wind outside. Lodge Glampings are 18 m2 in size and feature air conditioning, heating, a non-water freezing toilet, water for washing hands and teeth, a small fridge, an electric kettle and a terrace.
Lodge Glampings are located in the woods behind the main hotel buildings (50 - 150m). For washing the showers in the Lodge 1 sauna area are available at specific times, more detailed information available from reception upon arrival.
Our resident sauna elf invites all hotel guests to enjoy the heat early in the morning and privately bookable again after a day exploring nature.

Lunch & Dinner
The adjoining Restaurant Haltia offers food made from domestic, pure ingredients and seasonal flavors. Seasonal lunch is available on weekdays and the restaurant is also open for dinner on weekends. Here you can have a nice lunch at the end of an outdoor day or a dinner after a forest trip. On the café side you will find fresh savory and sweet delicacies as well as fresh drinks.

Take a piece of Nuuksio with you! Our Design Shop carries a selection of ecological and ethically produced souvenirs and utility items. By shopping here, you support local small businesses. We offer everything from organic fabrics to wooden design watches and jewellery made of materials from the surrounding nature. Feel free to explore the products at the Forest Lounge, in the halls, or even on the yard. Our hotel rooms are decorated with bird-themed photo prints by an award-winning nature photographer, also available for purchase.
Explore the products, try them out and fall in love with them during your stay, and buy lovely assortments of down-to-earth items to bring back home or give as gifts. We carry products from select partners, including Haglöfs fabrics, S.U.F Helsinki watches, Mettä herbal products, and VAI-KO beanies and other fabrics. We can also ship the products for you.
