Haltia Lake Lodge has been selected as the most environmentally friendly hotel in Europe in the 2022 World Boutique Hotel Awards competition. We have continued on this same path, determinedly developing our operations and respecting the nature around us.

We use 100% wind power, collaborate with local small-scale operators, operate on a zero-waste principle in our Forest Lounge Bistro and in addition, we are strongly involved in the circular economy: We recycle all waste and a large part of our utensils and decor is recycled. The experiences we offer are designed to be in harmony with the environment and not to burden our local nature. An important goal for us is to be carbon neutral by 2025.
