Nature boutique hotel ハルティア レイク ロッジ, in collaboration with Metsähallitus Wildlife & Parks & Wildlife Finland and the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia, are offering new travel concept in Nuuksio National Park that aims to promote regenerative tourism and combat the destruction of natural habitats.

Regenerative tourism is defined as travel that leaves a destination in a better state than before the visitor arrived. With this in mind, Haltia Lake Lodge is offering visitors the chance to take part in a "planet-positive conservation holiday" in which they participate in conservation work at the national park.

The initiative, called Planet-positive conservation holiday, allows visitors to contribute positively to the local environment by doing conservation work during their holiday. Haltia Lake Lodge provides transportation, accommodation, and catering for the visitors, while Parks & Wildlife Finland provides guidance and training to the conservation workers. The Finnish Nature Centre Haltia coordinates the project and serves as a base for the visitors during their stay.

Nuuksio National Park is an ideal location for a conservation holiday.
