Spaces

:NOOX – Meeting room for up to 32 people:

The name NOOX comes from a 16th-century land registry – the earliest known written record of the area now called Nuuksio. The name is thought to derive from a Sámi word for swan: birds that once flew over this lake on their migration routes. Over the centuries the name shifted through Noox, Nouks and Noux, until a schoolteacher in the 1920s coined a more Finnish-sounding version – Nuuksio.

The oldest form of the name now belongs to the hotel's main meeting room: a bright, functional space with plenty of windows and room to work.

:Vilpola – Meeting room for up to 12 people:

An intimate, characterful space designed for leadership teams and focused group work. The atmosphere is notably different from a standard meeting room.

:Scenic Hut – Event and dining space:

The Scenic Hut opened in summer 2025 and is architecturally unlike anything else in the area – an open-fire space that works equally well for dinners, closing sessions and standalone events.
